Good thing chaopraya was fully booked. This place exceeded all my thai food expectations and experience. I enjoyed it so much, I told my husband that we have to come again next year when we stay at the witchery next year. I came here with my siblings and mum.as a post christmas dinner celebration The staff was very friendly, smiles all round! The ambience is perfect, lovely background chatter, lights set the mood and the decor is nice. I suppose the only downside is the tight squeeze around some of the tables. But they do try and accommodate as many as they can.. Toilets are downstairs. I think they might have accessible toilets upstairs but something to check! Food was the main event... Best way to describe it is... as close to eating in Thailand! Highly recommend the coconut rice and egg friend rice :) Lovely flaky roti. Coming back again for their lamb panang curry

Some of the best service there is in Edinburgh, we chose to diner here for a birthday meal and it was brilliant. 2 of our party had been to Dusit before and were aware of the private room down the stairs. We had to young children with us who were particularly tired and fussy today so there was some tantrums but being in your own space meant you had the space to deal with it. The staff were very understanding of the children and all made an effort to engage with them which really was lovely! We opted for the banquet option which was a great choice. As we ordered for 4 adults we got all starters and mains. The food was delicious and the staff were great at explaining each dish.you get rice and noodles to go with and we were offered refills if needed but we were stuffed. My favourite was the Gai Manow and the Pad Kraprao. And the dumplings and sauce in the starter! They were so attentive topping up our wine and water. Would definitely recommend!

Best Thai food I ever had!!! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and fresh ingredients. The Pad Thai was rich and comforting, the curries were aromatic and full of depth, and the portions were generous. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Easily one of the best Thai meals I’ve had — highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

This place was incredible for the food and service. The best Thai food we have ever had in the UK. Highly recommend. Only a couple of pictures as too busy demolishing the food!

Surely without doubt the best Thai in Edinburgh. Dusit has been in Edinburgh for nearly 25 yrs, my goodness I am getting old. Their pad thai and green curry best in town. Go visit but not on the day I want to go in case they are too busy. Dear reader if you are comparing reviews don't go to Rosa Thai which is round the corner when best in Edinburgh is 50 yards away.

Booked a table on 18/05/25 for my birthday after reading reviews and we both enjoy Thai food. We ordered the banquet meal for two. We started with a lovely selection of starters and then had 3 mains, with sticky rice and noodles. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we were both full afterwards. . Service was good without being overpowering. Would definitely recommend and be back in the future.

What a delightful place. Without a reservation they managed to get me a place on a Thursday. And I loved it. Best pad thai I ever had. And those sweet potatoes fritters... omg. Highly recommend!!

As I have been to Thailand and have tasted the original dishes I can say that the food was exceptionally delicious, full of rich flavors that felt both authentic and carefully prepared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and offered outstanding service throughout our visit. On top of all that, the prices were very reasonable, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai cuisine and heartfelt hospitality. * We had the gai dusit which is the meaning of a sweet and sour meal, the pad kaprao with duck and from appetizers the satay gai!! Everything totally recommended.
